Branch Out Apparel is seeking a qualified Apparel Production Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our print production shop. The Apparel Production Manager role blends creativity, organization, and leadership while overseeing design coordination, DTG (direct-to-garment) printing, print production workflows, and quality control.
This role also plays a key part in supporting a team including adults that are autistic, neurodivergent, and have varying strengths and support needs. The Apparel Production Manager will help create a work environment that is structured, predictable, and supportive while recognizing that team members may bring a wide range of communication styles, learning needs, and strengths.
Success in this role means balancing productivity with people-centered leadership while ensuring the workplace is structured, respectful, and empowering for all team members.

Branch Out Apparel is a new venture from Willow ABA, a family-owned organization dedicated to supporting individuals with autism and their families since 2020. Branch Out was created to continue Willow’s mission of helping the autistic population through all stages of life. Responsibilities
- Oversee apparel production from digital design to printed garment
- Take a hands-on role in production when needed, supporting printing, setup, and workflow execution
- Manage daily workflow, scheduling, and production timelines
- Collaborate directly with clients on specifications for products
- Place and manage production orders, including vendor communication and negotiation
- Operate and oversee DTG printing equipment, ensuring proper setup, print quality, and daily maintenance
- Maintain equipment readiness and ensure a safe working environment
- Supervise and support production staff, including differently abled employees with a wide range of skillsets
- Ensure products are completed within budget, and meet quality standards
- Source fabrics, trims, and vendors aligned with brand and budget
- Maintain accurate records of materials, pricing, and production details
- Monitor inventory and reduce waste through efficient material use
- Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in apparel production, DTG printing, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with DTG printing workflows
- Familiarity with Epson SureColor DTG printers (F-series preferred) or comparable equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot print issues, maintain equipment, and ensure consistent print quality
- Experience with digital imaging, Adobe Illustrator preferred
- Familiarity with Commonsku is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Commercial Art, or related field is preferred but not required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
